Life and Times Around Bellaire, Texas contains many pages with photos of Bellaire residents: school photos, parade photos, and business photos. Some of the people in these photos are obvious, such as the mayor of Bellaire, TV personality Marvin Zindler, "Papa" Teas, who did the original landscaping of Bellaire, and A.J. Foyt in a midget car at Meyer Speedway. Most of the other people, however, are nameless at this point.

My interest in finding out who these people are, and where they are today, came when a lady called me one day. She had seen a copy of my book and recognized her husband, who had passed away, in one of the photos. She wanted a copy of the book because she didn't have a good photo of her husband! (Seemed strange to me at the time, but I guess these things happen.)
